Computer-aided design/Computer-aided manufacturing is the computer system used to design and manufacture products. The restorations are designed in the CAD. The CAM portion of the program manufactures the exact shape of the designed restorations by ceramic blocks. CAD-CAM technology provides a range of dental restorations including: crowns, crown lays, veneers, inlays and onlays, fixed bridges, dental implant restorations and orthodontic appliances. CAD/CAM system enables the dentist to create a finished restorations in 2 hours in some cases
